The apples are pouring in now that we are in the full swing of fall. We call this time of year cider season: when the pressed run full force from morning to night and jug after jug is filled to the brim with sweet, freshly pressed cider.

So St. Patty’s is coming up. When I think of the holiday I think of two things: beer and corned beef. In my house, it is all about the corned beef. I get that the Irish get a bad wrap for having bland food.

We have never done a DIY on this blog before. But, every other day I feel like we get the questions “do you take back empty jars?” and “what am I supposed to do with all these empty jars?!” Of course, you could always recycle them and be a good, green member of society.
